| Officers of the School Board |
Election.-- A chair and vice chair shall be elected by the Board and shall assume office at a meeting on the third Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each year.
Duties.-- The duties of the chair shall be to preside at all meetings of the Board, to appoint all committees, and to perform such other duties as may be prescribed by law or by action of the School Board. The vice chair shall preside in the absence of the chair and perform other duties of the chair as circumstances make necessary.
