Policy 1.05Interpretation of Policies for Alternative School Year Programs

  1. The superintendent is authorized to develop internal procedures consistent with existing or proposed alternative school year programs within the district. Such procedures shall be in accordance with existing state law regarding alternative school year programs and any State Board of Education Regulations that may be applicable.

  2. The superintendent shall develop and issue directives that will interpret present board policies in a manner applicable to those matters related to the alternative school year.

  3. Board members will be advised in writing of all such reinterpretations of policies which relate to the alternative school year.
