| One-Stop Film Permitting |
The Superintendent is authorized to utilize the advisory services of the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission, Inc.:
Further, the Superintendent or designee is authorized to approve contracts with the film and/or television companies for the use of School Board facilities and properties provided the films and/or TV programs do not use School Board facilities or properties for scenes that:
Use the school name;
Liability insurance coverage is required under all contracts as well as a hold harmless indemnification clause. The production company shall provide documentation evidencing insurance coverage, prior to contract approval by the Superintendent or designee.
If applicable, the Film Commission shall require a script for approval from the School Board, Superintendent or designee. A script will then be attached to the permit and submitted to all involved parties.
Prior to entering into a contract with the Superintendent or designee, a production company shall disclose the conviction(s) of any individual of any felony(ies) or other crimes of moral turpitude who will be in a School Board facility or on School Board property.
