Employment of Selected Non-Certified Persons to Provide Instructional Services in Visual and Performing Arts Programs

1. The Superintendent is authorized to employ selected non-certified persons to provide instructional services in the visual and performing arts programs. Persons employed under this policy shall possess expert skill in or knowledge of a particular subject or talent.

2. Persons employed under this policy shall be accorded all benefits of certified instructional personnel, except as prohibited by laws, State Board of Education Administrative Rules, and Policies of the Board.

3. Persons employed under this policy shall be compensated according to the District's teacher salary schedule.

4. Persons employed under this policy shall be eligible for annual or professional service contracts.
