Personnel Authorized to Hold More Than One Job with the School Board

An employee shall not hold more than one job with the School Board unless dual employment is so approved by the School Board. No recommendation for such dual employment under any circumstances should be made by a principal or department head that could result in a requirement for the payment of premium wages under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended, unless lack of such recommendation would be adverse to the best interests of the School Board. In the event that such a recommendation is made, the recommendation should point out the possible requirement for the payment of premium wages and should state that the appointment, even so, is in the best interests of the School Board.
