Policy 6.06Facsimile Signatures

  1. Warrants

    1. Facsimile signatures of the Board chairman and the Superintendent shall be affixed to warrants as authorized by Board resolution.

    2. There are no conditions under which a vice chairman of the Board, as such, may sign warrants or school documents except when required to assume the duties of the chairman, in which case the vice chairman would be legally empowered to sign such warrants and other legal documents as the chairman would be empowered to sign.

  2. Contract for instructional personnel.

    1. The facsimile signature of the Superintendent is permitted to be used on contracts for instructional personnel. Affidavit by the Superintendent shall be as prescribed by section 116.34 (3), Florida Statutes. The specific individual designated to use the facsimile signature is the assistant superintendent of personnel.

  3. Lease agreements with users of school facilities.

    1. The facsimile signature of the Superintendent is permitted to be used on leases with users of school facilities.
