| The Awarding of Multiple Diplomas and a Certificate of Completion |
The School Board authorizes the following five awards indicating completion of a course of study in high school:
To receive a standard high school diploma, a student must
satisfy all district requirements for graduation, and
satisfy all requirements of Law and standards for high school graduation as prescribed by the State Board of Education.
To receive an academic honors diploma a student must
satisfy all district requirements for graduation, and
satisfy all requirements of law and standards for high school graduation as prescribed by the State Board of Education.
achieve the prescribed scores in an academic honors testing program.
To receive a vocational/technical honors diploma a student must
satisfy all district requirements for graduation, and
satisfy all requirements of law and standards for high school graduation as prescribed by the State Board of Education.
satisfy all requirements of a vocational technical honors program.
To receive a special diploma, a special education student must
satisfy all district special education requirements for graduation, and
satisfy all requirements of law and standards for high school graduation, for special education students, as prescribed by the State Board of Education.
To receive a certificate of completion, a student must
satisfy the district's minimum credit requirements for graduation.
